sean conohan - CO-EMCEE

Sean Conohan worked as a Paramedic/Emergency Medical Dispatcher for 17 years in Nova Scotia. During this time he was also a volunteer Firefighter. Sean was forced to change careers in 2014 and subsequently diagnosed with PTSD.

In January of 2016 he started UpTalk Podcast. It was a way to educate himself about what was happening to him and acquire the tools he would need to heal. Sean wanted other people to have the opportunity to learn with him so that they may avoid what he had to go through. It is now in its 8th season.

It will be an honour to co-emcee the Tema Nova Scotia Education Day in Halifax in May. The Tema Foundation was there for him from the beginning. Sean can truthfully tell you that without the support he received from Tema and the Conter Family he may not be here today.

It’s going to be an awesome day full of fabulous speakers so buckle up and see you there!
